From remodelling to changing use of rooms, designing kitchens and bathrooms to redecorating, our service is tailor made. We create a home that authentically reflects you and everything you love, by tuning in to your tastes rather than imposing a style. 

We believe that by giving the right amount of time to the process, the results will be relaxed and considered. Good communication and seamless project management are the keys to an enjoyable rather than onerous project where you are guided through the myriad decisions and can enjoy the process of transformation as it unfolds.  

There are 4 steps:

1. Getting to know you (brief development and concept design)

First, we visit you at your house, where we listen carefully to understand your practical requirements but also to interpret the underlying desires. These important insights are invaluable in informing the design, so that the end result works both on a practical and aesthetic level but most importantly, reflects you and how you want to live.  

We discuss the scope, style preferences, approximate budget and timescale.  We survey and use the dimensions to produce scale drawings, noting any favourite existing art or furniture you would like to include. We share imagery with you to determine the right mood and aesthetic and then research creative solutions and schemes for each room.  We present and discuss the ideas with you, along with an outline budget.

2. The alchemy (design development)

This intensive phase is often a collaborative process with our clients involving developing and adapting the decorative schemes, and you may visit showrooms and workshops with us to determine the perfect combination of finishes. This culminates in a detailed set of technical drawings, final layouts for furniture and schedules for all fixtures including flooring, lighting and window treatments. In parallel we help you find the right contractors.

3. Knocking things into shape (construction and project co-ordination)

Before and during the works, we coordinate all aspects of the project and oversee every detail of the design installation, liaising with the main contractor and other trades. We draw on our network of experienced crafts people - upholsterers, furniture and curtain makers - to bring all the elements together, and take care of all the purchasing paperwork. We make regular visits to the site, and to workshops, and deal with any queries, anticipate any issues and keep you updated on progress.

4. Finishing the jigsaw (installation and handover)

We install all furniture, fixtures and fittings, hang art and style the rooms, ensuring everything is as it should be. We provide a full handover including a folder of the all-important care and instruction manuals.
